Following a public argument, Aaron Rodgers once declared he was amenable to “reconciliation” with his estranged family
Most people agree that Aaron Rodgers is among the greatest quarterbacks to play in the NFL. Nonetheless, the Super Bowl victor has always had a tense connection with his family.
Rodgers, who joined the New York Jets this offseason, has stated that he is amenable to mending his differences with his estranged family in spite of years of hatred.
When Aaron Rodgers visited “The Aubrey Marcus Podcast” in November 2022, he covered a wide range of subjects. He spoke mostly about his usage of the hallucinogenic beverage ayahuasca and how it helped him to achieve back-to-back MVP seasons while playing for the Green Bay Packers.
It isn’t a coincidence. Actually, I don’t. At this point, coincidences don’t happen. The cosmos is causing things to occur when they are meant to.”
In addition, Rodgers discussed his dysfunctional family and his willingness to patch things up following a public argument.
“I believe that there can be healing and that there may one day be a reconciliation. However, every one of us is on a unique path, and making external judgments about what ought to be, how it ought to seem, or who is right or wrong is just a game I’ve never wanted to play and still don’t want to play.”
After his brother Jordan revealed the details of their broken relationship on “The Bachelorette,” Rodgers and his family fell out in 2016.
Aaron, my middle brother, will not be present. As previously said, my connection with my brother Luke is excellent. Aaron and I don’t really get along all that well. I’ve made the decision to maintain my strong relationships with my parents, brother, and family, and that’s simply the way he’s decided to live,” Jordan remarked.
Then, according to “Us Weekly,” the former quarterback for the Packers skipped Jordan’s May 2022 wedding.
There is reportedly still a divide between Aaron Rodgers and his family, despite his attempts to patch things up off the field.
With his injury, when will Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers return?
After spending 18 seasons with the Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers signed a contract with the New York Jets this summer. In Week 1 of the 2023 season, the quarterback did, however, have an unpleasant incident against the Buffalo Bills.
In just his fourth play as the Jets signal caller, Rodgers tore his left Achilles tendon. According to early rumors, the 39-year-old would not be able to play for the remainder of the season. But according to reports, Rodgers had a “speed bridge” operation, which may allow the signal-caller to return to the Jets lineup by mid-January, just in time for the postseason.
The team led by Robert Saleh still has a long way to go before they can consider making the playoffs. As we enter Week 8, his New York squad is third in the AFC East with a 3-3 record.
On the other hand, the Jets’ chances of making the playoffs might be greatly enhanced by having Rodgers in their arsenal.
