Florida State vs LSU Tigers Sunday opener game becomes the second most watched game on ABC Network.

Week 1 of College Football brought some of the most intriguing games for football fans. FSU vs LSU was one of those highly anticipated games watched by millions of fans on Sunday Night. The Seminoles crushed the Tigers with a 45-24 triumph in Week 1 and changed the dynamics of ESPN’s Top 25 picks.

According to ESPN, the average number of viewers for LSU and Florida was recorded at 9.1 million.

This opener game becomes the second most watched Labor Day Sunday game since Texas earned a 50-45 overtime win over Notre Dame in 2016.

The Seminoles quarterback Jordan Travis amassed 342 passing yards and four touchdowns. The Seminoles totaled 494 yards and completed nine of 14 third downs (and their only fourth-down attempt).

The LSU lost 31 points in the second halftime, it is not how Coach Brian Kelly envisioned for the team.

Via 247sports, Brian said, “We certainly are not the football team that I thought we were, and we’ve got to do a much better job obviously in developing our football team.”

Kelly told the reporters his team was not prepared and that on him,

“We clearly were short in a lot of areas tonight, and that falls on me to get our football team to be better in most of the competitive areas that you saw tonight.”

LSU Tigers will face Mississippi State on September 16 in week 2. While Florida State is set to face off with Clemson on Monday night on ESPN.
