Darvin Ham: “James doing everything he can”
Just one day after news came out that LeBron James is working hard to recover from a foot injury so he can play for the Lakers again, his coach Darvin Ham gave an update on Sunday. Although Ham didn’t give any specific details, he did say that James will be back on the bench with the team soon and it sounds like his recovery is going well so far. This is good news and suggests that James hasn’t experienced any major setbacks in his rehab.
LeBron James is currently in the second week of a three-week rest period for his Right foot injury. He will be reevaluated on approximately March 23rd, but this update from his coach Darvin Ham may not be very informative. However, it is a good sign that he was not wearing a walking boot during the game against the Knicks, which suggests that he is making progress in his recovery.
Despite this progress, the Lakers still have a long way to go before James can potentially return to the court. There are five more games to play before his reevaluation date, and it usually takes some time for a player to ramp up their activity level before they can return to playing. The team and fans will have to be patient and hope for more wins to help the Lakers climb up the Western Conference standings until James can come back.
