FIFA 23 Is The Last FIFA game?

FIFA 23 is a game that has earned so much love from its players, this game has been released on September 13, 2022, and now reached the mid-point of its annual cycle. In this journey, the developers served so many updates and modes to different game sections.

EA sports release new seasons every autumn and provide seasonal updates. But this time FIFA 23 has confirmed that this season is going to be the last season. Though they will work on the franchise and will be undergoing a significant rebrand later this year. According to sources, EA sports is already set to transform the franchise.

Though renaming some popular video game franchises is so common among such big brands. In the last 20 years, this game has touched new heights of success and established itself as one of the most loveable video games among football fans. FIFA 23 became one of the biggest launched franchises and it sold over 10 million copies in the first week. The Franchise will be renamed EA Sports FC, the reason for the need for renaming is a breakdown in negotiations between EA sports and FIFA that effected in the loss of the FIFA license. 

And this is the only reason why FIFA 23 going to be the last game in the series. EA Sports on this topic said that “EA SPORTS FC will allow us to realize this future and much more…but not before we deliver our most expansive game ever with our current naming rights partner, FIFA, for one more year.”

They have started work on new future plans and commitments.
