Fenway Park’s Nearby Area is Set to have A Facelift
Fenway Park, a Stadium in Boston, Massachusetts which is used to hold the MLB matches is one of the most historic Boston ballpark and a lot of memories are connected to it. The area around the park is the same and untouched for a long time now, but it’s finally time for things to change.
According to the Boston Globe via Sports Business Journal, a “mixed-use development” around the Fenway Park which will be called the “Fenway Corners” have been approven with a deal of $1.6 billion. The construction and building process will soon start and we wll get to see a totally new look of the Fenway Park.
According to the reports, the new park will have an entirely new buildings on the blocks surrounding the iconic Red Sox ballpark and some of the rendering images are already available on the internet for fans.
“Red Sox following the Cubs model. Smart move,” one user noted.
“Someone is jealous of ballpark village,” wrote another, referring to the St. Louis Ballpark Village.
It will be going to hard and is already so costly for rebuilding Fenway Park in a city like Boston. But it’s all worth it. Can’t wait to see another MLB match in the new build park.
