FC Barcelona defender gets his twitter hacked
Yesterday, Barcelona defender, Ronald Araujo’s Twitter account was hacked. However, it has since been recovered.
It was during last night’s Champions League clash between Liverpool and Real Madrid that, Araujo seemingly tweeted “What a mistake by Nacho! He falls asleep and is making a huge mess.”
The tweet raised questions over the legitimacy since the message was not only targeting a rival player but also made randomly without any context. The tweet was targeted toward Real Madrid center-back Nacho.
The Uruguayan defender did not waste any time by deleting the tweet. He followed on with another message explaining the situation, which stated: “Hacked account. Apologies to all my followers and all the fans. Everything under control.”
Apart from the issue, Real Madrid went on to thrash Liverpool 5-2 at Anfield.
