Fans respond to the Arizona Diamondbacks dressing like gangsters in identical sweatsuits, only to lose Game 2 of the National League Championship Series
The Arizona Diamondbacks and the Philadelphia Phillies are locked in a dramatic do-or-die series that might send one of the clubs to the World Series. The D-backs intended to demonstrate their dominance not just through their play but also through their appearance.
However, supporters had a great time rushing to social media to react to all of the commotion that the Diamondbacks made for nothing.
The Phillies presently lead the series 2-0, implying that the D-backs must mount a comeback. To demonstrate their solidarity, they appeared in identical sweatsuits.
The entire squad was dressed in black and appeared to be there to create mayhem and win at all costs. However, the match’s plot took a very different turn. In game 2 of the NLCS, the Diamondbacks were defeated by the Phillies by a ten-run margin. Fans reacted to the Instagram photo by saying that the Diamondbacks were the embodiment of ‘Barking dogs seldom bite.’
“All that to lose by 10.”
“Leaving in body bags, unfortunately.”
In NLCS Game 2, the D-backs suffer an ugly 10-0 loss to the Phillies.
Torey Luvullo, the Diamondbacks manager, was furious after his team was humiliated 10-0 by the Phillies in Game 2 of the NLCS.
He discussed how the club needs to come together and focus on playing better baseball if they want to win it all.
“We have to play better baseball,” stated the coach.
Arizona must win their next game to be a threat to the Phillies in the NLCS. However, the Phillies are currently the popular favorite to sweep the Diamondbacks.
It will be interesting to observe how the Diamondbacks progress in the series and prepare for the following game. Will they recover? Will they or will they not? The only way to know is to wait and see.
