Fans Reaction On Notre Dame Signs “Under Armour” Apparel Deal

Notre Dame Fighting Irish football signed the biggest apparel 10-year deal with “Under Armour”. Fans’ reaction to that is quite the opposite.

According to the records Notre Dame signed the richest deal in college football. One of the most prominent and independent Notre Dame programs signed a new 10-year deal with Under Armour worth more than $10 million annually. Via Yahoo Sports, Uner Armour won the bid against Nike and Adidas. Under Armour succeeded in renewing the previous contract from 2014 in its final year.

Fans have a crappy reaction to this new signing of Notre Dame with apparel brand design College football uniforms for this longer extent.

One fan commented, “Awful I just cannot stand those mustard brown pants. Was really hoping for something better.”

One fan said, “Don’t love this. Never truly been a fan of UA. For someone who goes to almost every home game, I saw a 40% increase on almost everything in the Bookstore on game days from day 1 of the first UA deal. I was hoping a return to the Champion brand was possible. Always loved it’s apparel.”

Another roast with, “Can’t wait to see coach Freeman wearing more cool gear that isn’t available to buy.”

One questioned the longer period, “Wait…are we expecting UA to be around in 10 years?”

Recently Notre Dame introduced its new green jersey in the context of the Irish tradition of wearing green on big events. In a very funny video Notre Dame Football shared on Twitter launching new uniforms.

On the other end Under Armour fighting its way back into College Football to keep its big clients including Notre Dame, Auburn, and Wisconsin. It already ended the contracts with UCLA, Cincinnati, Cal, and Hawaii.

Nike and Adidas having their best time in college football keeping the clients. Nike is going to seal the deal with Ohio State, Michigan, and Texas worth $8-$10 million. And Adidas also has a possible contract with Louisville, Kansas, and Nebraska.
