Atlanta Falcons Coach Arthur Smith told reporters without an MRI they can’t say anything. Via ESPN, Atlanta’s coach Arthur Smith said,
“You really never know until you get an MRI. The longer you’re in this, you see things that looked awful and thankfully the guy’s OK, or that didn’t look very bad a little incidental bump, and that’s kind of what happened to [Ethan] Greenidge the other day and unfortunately he’s going to have to have surgery, so he goes on IR.”
Smith mentioned Ethan greenidge offensive lineman and another player of Falcons who got injured.
24-year-old, Jeff was the best cornerback in the country in college football at Ohio State. In the 2019 season, Okudah earned First-Team All-Big Ten honors and was a unanimous All-American.
Jeff was first drafted by the Detroit Lions in third overall in the 2020 NFL. After that Atlanta Falcons picked up Jeff Okudah as a fifth-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. With Falcons, this is the third season for Jeff Odukah but due to his regular injuries only played 25 games.
Smith said, “he hoped the MRI would give them optimistic news and that Okudah will eventually return”.
