Ex-Baseball Star Matt Harvey’s Girlfriend Dumped Him After His Obsession with New Job

Former baseball star Matt Harvey is making headlines again, but it’s not for his playing skills this time. News has surfaced that Harvey and Australian model Monika Clarke have broken up, and reports suggest that his new job played a big part in their split.

According to sources at Page Six, Harvey and Clarke are no longer together because Harvey is really into his new job. An insider said, “It just didn’t make sense overall. He just became obsessed with his new job.”

The news of their breakup came around the same time Harvey revealed he was diving into a whole new career. In June, he surprised everyone by saying he was entering commercial real estate. 

He talked to the New York Post and said, “I’ve always been interested in the many different aspects of real estate. By joining an incredibly successful firm such as Newmark, I will be able to learn and grow from some of the best in the industry.”

But it seems like his new job had a cost – his relationship. Monika Clarke, who has many followers on Instagram, hasn’t shared any recent pictures of Harvey on her social media, which seems to confirm the split.

Harvey, who used to be a top baseball player, announced earlier this year that he’s retiring from the sport. He was named NL Comeback Player of the Year before, but now he’s trying his luck in a different field.

We’ll have to wait and see how the “Dark Knight” does in the business world as he starts this new chapter in his life.
