ESPN’s Dianna Russini Playfully Teases Atlanta Falcons’ Coach Arthur Smith Over His New Mustache
Football fans were taken by surprise this week when Atlanta Falcons’ head coach, Arthur Smith, appeared sporting a brand new mustache. While many fans loved the new look, it seems not everyone is a fan, especially ESPN’s Dianna Russini.
During a recent segment on ESPN Radio, Dianna Russini had some light-hearted fun with Coach Smith’s facial hair choice. She jokingly poked fun at the “lifestyle change” and suggested that it might affect his romantic life.
“The lifestyle change is no woman is ever going to kiss you again… that’s the lifestyle change,” Russini quipped. “You’re going to just be alone, watching football. I’m not sure what Coach is doing here. I noticed last year he tried the beard, then he got rid of it. Then he lost some weight. And I thought ‘Coach’s stock is up.’
Despite her playful banter, Russini also had kind words for Coach Smith’s coaching abilities and expressed optimism for the Falcons’ performance in the upcoming season.
“This is horrible. He is now at the bottom. And here’s the thing: I think the Falcons are gonna be good this year. I love what Arthur Smith does. I love what Arthur Smith is about. I hate Arthur Smith’s mustache. He needs to take a FedEx box and send it out of here.”

It’s worth remembering that Dianna Russini’s comments were all in good fun, and she’s just having a laugh about the new look.
As for Coach Arthur Smith, his mustache choice is entirely his own decision. With a supportive wife and three children, he probably isn’t too worried about how it affects his romantic life.
So, while the “stache debate” might add some humor to the football season, it won’t be the deciding factor for Coach Smith’s success. Fans can rest assured that his focus remains on leading the Falcons to victory.
