ESPN Let Go NBA Analyst Jalen Rose Amid Ongoing Layoffs
ESPN is going through some tough times, and its basketball coverage is also getting affected. One of their NBA analysts, Jalen Rose, is the latest to reportedly part ways with the network after Jeff Van Gundy.
According to the New York Post’s Andrew Marchand and Ryan Glasspiegel, Rose has been let go after working at ESPN for ten years. He was part of their NBA broadcast team.
The news doesn’t come as a total surprise since Rose’s role at ESPN had been getting smaller recently. His show “Jalen & Jacoby,” which he co-hosted with David Jacoby, got canceled at the end of 2022. He used to be on another show called Get Up, but he left when someone else took charge of it.

Before becoming an analyst, Jalen Rose had a successful career as an NBA player for over ten years until he retired in 2007. After retiring, he worked as a basketball expert for ABC and ESPN while also starting his own entertainment company.
Now that he’s no longer with ESPN, Jalen Rose will have plenty of other things to do, and he won’t be short of opportunities beyond his ESPN job.
