Neil Everett’s emotional message to his fans aired last Friday night.
The famous anchor Neil Everett is the one who left the show after ESPN decided to lay off some of his on-air talents. Neil has been running the most popular ESPN show “Sportscenter” for the past 23 years.
Neil Everett and Stan Verrett have been hosting the show since 2009. On Friday night, Everett finally said his adieu to the show and all his fans and sign off.
“Well, this is the end of the line for me,”
61 years old Everett said further, “I’m not on social media, but Stan told me some have you left favorable tweets, and I appreciate that. You do this to entertain you all out there.”
At last, the former ESPN anchor said goodbye to all his fans with this line “Love is a long road, I’ll see you down it”
Fans are sad and tweeted how much they gonna miss their favorite anchor who will be no longer part of the show.
In an interview with FrontOffice Sport Neil said, “ESPN changed my life, but now it’s time for me to change my life. Time to write a new chapter.”
Indeed But the show will not be the same without his former anchor Neil Everett.
