Erik Ten Hag reacts to the Glazers pushing back the sale of the club
Erik Ten Hag’s opinion on Glazers pushing back the sale deadline
The talks over The Glazers family willing to sell their stake at Manchester United have been trending over the last couple of months. The interested buyers, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sheikh Bin Hamad Al Thani are not ready to match the £6bn price tag set by the Glazers.
As of now, The Glazers have decided to postpone the sale until June. As per reports, the owners believe the end of the season would be an appropriate timeframe to complete the sale.
What did Erik Ten Hag have to say?
The manager, Erik ten Hag told Sky Sports, “Of course, I know [about the bids]. There’s movement around the club, but it’s not up to me. Others at the club are taking [charge of] this stuff and I have to manage the team.
“I have to make sure the team is perfect and getting the right results. Every third day, we have a game, so I don’t have time to get involved in stuff like this. It’s not distracting us. We are focusing on football, on the games, and on preparing for training. That is our job to do. It doesn’t distract us, so far so good.”
