England Midfielder Keira Walsh Injures Her Leg During The Game At World Cup

England star midfielder Keira Walsh injured her leg during the game between England vs Denmark at Women’s World Cup 2023.

This Friday England clashed with Denmark at FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, where England beat Denmark 1-0. England’s midfielder Keira Walsh had to be taken off the pitch on a stretcher because of her right leg injury.

Kiera, 26, hurt her right leg while stretching for a pass. After that, she immediately calls for help while lying down on the ground. The star midfielder was in tears while taking her off the pitch on a stretcher.

Although Walsh later returned to the bench with the help of crutches. Her injury didn’t affect the victory because of an early goalpost by Lauren James. There is no update on Walsh’s injury as England team manager Sarina Wiegman told reporters they can’t say anything until Doctors reports came.

“Of course, I’m concerned because she couldn’t walk off the pitch, but we don’t know yet, so we can’t take any assumptions. Let’s just wait until we really have a diagnosis and then we can tell you.”

Kiera Walsh is a prominent player on England’s team who moved from Manchester City to Barcelona after a record fee of $470,000. It would be a problem for the national team as well club’s team if Walsh stayed out of the pitch for a long time.

We hope there is nothing serious, Kiera Walsh return to the field ASAP.
