The 16-year-old wonderkid, Endrick, has agreed to join Real Madrid in the future is facing immense pressure. The Striker has failed to score a goal in the first ten matches played in 2023. During his team’s match against RB Bragantino, Endrick was taken off in the 60th minute mark. Understandably, the youngster was heartbroken and was seen covering his face as tears flowed down his cheeks.
WHAT THEY SAID:
“Yes, it’s true, he covered his face because he cried. I’m not his father, but I should have given him a hug,” coach Ferreira said. “You have to be calm. Nobody likes criticism. There is tremendous pressure on him to score five or six goals and he tries to deal with it himself. The goal will appear at the right time. You just have to be calm and keep smiling.”

Despite being of tender age, the teenager has attracted a lot of eyes on himself. He is considered as one of the most promising talents to come out of Brazil. He has already signed the deal to move to Real Madrid in 2024 in a deal worth €60 million (£52m/$64m).
WHAT NEXT FOR ENDRICK?
Fortunately, the young Brazilian has time on his side. His inexperience is the reason for his rough patch, but he will definitely get back to scoring goals.
