Elden Ring: Quick Guide to Get the Winged Scythe

The Winged Scythe, a rare and mighty weapon in Elden Ring, gets stronger with Dexterity, Faith, and Strength. Having more Faith boosts its damage, making it an excellent choice for players starting their journey.

This unique weapon features a long pole with angel wings at its end. According to lore, white-winged maidens are Death’s kind messengers. The Winged Scythe’s special ability, Angel’s Wings, showcases one of the game’s coolest animations.

Guide To Get the Winged Scythe in Elden Ring

To find the Winged Scythe, head to Tombsward Ruins in Weeping Peninsula, Limgrave. Battle the small rats near the entrance and go downstairs by Trina’s Lily crafting material spot.

After going down, you’ll face two pages of humanoid enemies. One fires Fire Bolts using a crossbow, while the other fights with a thrusting sword. Deal with or ignore them, then walk straight to find a door.

Behind it, you’ll discover the treasure chest holding the Winged Scythe.

Reach the Winged Scythe Location in Elden Ring

To get to the Winged Scythe, go to Tombsward Ruins, southwest of the Church of Pilgrimage in Weeping Peninsula, Limgrave. Begin at the Bridge of Sacrifice Site of Lost Grace and head southwest, avoiding the Giant and Demi-Humans.

At the split path with a castle on the left, go north and climb the slope. Beware of dogs by the pond, then turn southwest to activate South of the Lookout Tower Site of Lost Grace.

From the bonfire, move west to the long bridge guarded by a sleeping Elden Ring monster. Bypass or ignore it, cross the bridge, and walk south. Head northwest when you see the Spirit Spring and climb the slope to the church’s entrance. Activate the Church of Pilgrimage Site of Lost Grace and go southwest until you find the ruins.

Go downstairs, defeat the foes, and open the treasure chest to secure your Winged Scythe.

Elden Ring is out now on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox One and Series X|S.
