Elden Ring Map Details Revealed
Elden Ring is an action role-playing e-game developed by FromSoftware Inc and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It was initially released in February 2022, and since then it has gained popularity among E-Sports Professionals and that’s why it has achieved a 9/10 star rating on Steam. It is currently available on three gaming platforms including Xbox, PSP, and Windows.
Where does Elden Ring take place?
The storyline of the game takes place between the lands of a vast realm under the Erdtree and the gigantic spectral tree. According to the storyline, this place was once owned by The Eternal Queen ‘Marika’. This area is now dominated by the power of the Elden Ring and it is observed through a map guide that is also known as The Greatest Will.
But later on, everything changed when something horrible took place in Elden Ring. It is the same time when Queen Marika also disappeared and her children fought an immense war among themselves called the Shattering. The result of this war led to a division of this into different shards. And, Marika’s children are now known as demigods.
The demigods now rule their own parts of the lands. Some of the largest areas of this land are:
- Limgrave (Home of Stormveil Castle)
- Large and very shallow Lake Liurnia
- The Academy of Raya Lucaria (Headquarters of Glintstone Sorcery)
- Caelid is a ghostly region blighted by Scarlet Rot (a nasty plague)
- The Altus Plateau (near the Erdtree): This place is located near the seat of Marika’s throne
- Mountaintops of the Giants
These are the largest areas of the land only. Other than these, there are some small regions also that include tunnels, underground areas, and dungeons. According to the map, the total area of the Elden Ring is quite large.
