Elden Ring: Steps To Open The Barrier in Converted Fringe Tower

#1 Locate the Second Glintstone Key at Raya Lucaria Academy:

Players must first find the Academy Glintstone Key to enter Raya Lucaria Academy. Inside, there’s another Glintstone Key. To find it, follow these steps:

Head to the Debate Parlor Site of Grace.
Move north to the large courtyard, then west to a rubble-made ramp.
Climb the ramp and stairs, avoiding Raya Lucaria Sorcerers’ attacks.
Turn left at the top, jump over the banister, and climb the next set of stairs.

Turn left again, jump over another banister, and land on a rooftop.
Cross the rooftops to reach the Church of the Cuckoo, entered earlier in the level.
Enter through an open window, drop onto the chandelier with the item, and collect the second Academy Glintstone Key.

#2 Get The Glintstone Crown at Raya Lucaria Academy:

Before leaving the academy, defeat a Glintstone-covered crab to get a Glintstone Crown. The easiest crab to reach is near the Debate Parlor Site of Grace. Follow these directions:

Head north into the large courtyard.
Go under the bridge at the northwest corner, near the big mechanical enemy.
Walk to the ledge and turn left.
Find the crab in the corner where the stone walls form a right angle.

#3 Bring the Academy Glintstone Key to the Church of Irith:

Visit the Church of Irith in south Liurnia and meet Sorcerer Thops. Give him the key by selecting “talk,” “about the glintstone key,” and “give the Academy Glintstone Key.” This rewards players with the Erudition gesture in Elden Ring.

#4 Break the Seal at the Converted Fringe Tower:

Return to the Converted Fringe Tower, equip the Glintstone Crown, stand in front of the seal, and perform the Erudition gesture. The barrier disappears, allowing players to climb the tower and obtain the powerful Elden Ring sorceries, Cannon of Haima and Gavel of Haima, from the chest at the top. Be prepared for an enemy encounter along the way.
