Eagles Star Says Chief O-line ‘Blessed’ By Super Bowl
Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham’s recent comment on the Chiefs’ offensive line made Players and fans angry.
Eagles star Brandon Graham’s comments, ” …that O-line, they got blessed” in Super Bowl made some vexed.
In an interview with Derrick Gunn and Rob Elis on their podcast, “Sports Take with Derrick Gunn and Rob Ellis” Brandon discusses the Eagles’ Super Bowl loss to Kansas City. Philadelphia player Brandon was shackled by the ground condition.
According to the Kansas City Star Graham said, “You need that traction to be able to get off the block and we were slipping a lot,”
Brandon continued saying he was not making any excuses.
“I’m telling you that O-line, they got blessed, I’ll say that.”
Graham mentioned some of the Eagles player’s names including Josh Sweat on Patrick Mahomes’ was struggling too and slipped at the first pass of the game, a 20-yard completion to Travis Kelce.
Philly star said, “When we looked at the film, man, it was a couple of times where it was if Sweaty don’t slip, boy, (there would’ve been a) strip sack,” .
Graham said, “Oh my God, especially that first drive when he threw it across the middle to Kelce. He was right there. He slipped … But you know, like I said, credit to Kansas City. It’s all love, you know what I’m saying. Them boys played too, they played on that surface too.”
The Eagle recorded over all 70 sacks during the Super Bowl season, at the third position most in NFL. The Kensas on the other hand win 38-35 to secure the franchise’s second Super Bowl title in four seasons.
