Eagles News Roundup: Changes in the Team Roster, Releasing Former Second-Round Defensive Back
Exciting updates are coming in from the Eagles camp this Saturday morning. Howie Roseman and the Eagles’ management have been making significant moves to shape up the team’s lineup.
Released Players in Eagles’ Roster:
Greedy Williams: The Eagles have decided to part ways with cornerback Greedy Williams. He was chosen in the second round from LSU a while ago and joined the Eagles in March. However, the team has now made the tough call to let him go after signing him for a one-year contract. The Eagles had hoped he would team up well with Darius Slay and James Bradberry, but things didn’t work out as planned.
Williams, before donning the Eagles’ colors, had spent four productive years with the Browns. Accumulating a record of 99 tackles, 12 pass breakups, two interceptions, and a single forceful fumble during his tenure, Williams had showcased glimpses of his capability.
Ty Zentner: Another departure from the team is punter Ty Zentner. Ty Zentner is a talented kicker for the Eagles. However, the Eagles already have Arryn Siposs doing a great job in that position, so Zentner’s time with the team has come to an end.
Other Changes: The Eagles also said goodbye to a few more players due to injuries. Tyrie Cleveland, Noah Elliss, and Zech McPhearson won’t be part of the team anymore.

Fresh Faces in Team’s Roster:
With these openings on the team, the Eagles have welcomed some new players to join their ranks:
Defense Additions: Robert Cooper, Marvin Wilson, and Caleb Sanders are now part of the Eagles’ defense. These players will contribute to making the team’s defensive strategies even stronger.
Linebacker Additions: Tyreek Maddox-Williams and Quinton Bell are the new additions to the linebackers group. They’ll be working hard to ensure the team’s defense is well-rounded and effective.
These changes mark a significant shift in the Eagles’ lineup. The team’s management is focused on making the team even better and more competitive as they look forward to the upcoming games.
