Dylan Mulvaney Playfully Addresses Bud Light Controversy in Awards Speech

Dylan Mulvaney, one of the most famous social media influencers has been making new headlines and is getting involved in the Bud Light Controversy.

The well-known beer company joined forces with Mulvaney for a promotion during a basketball March Madness event. Some people got really mad about this decision on the internet, while others thought it was a great idea.

Now, Bud Light is getting ready for football season, which is their busiest time of the year. Before football season started, Mulvaney made fun of all the upset feelings that happened because of the Bud Light situation.

“My life has been changed for the better, but on the flip side, there’s also been an extreme amount of transphobia and hate. I know that my community is feeling it, and I now know that even our allies are feeling it. I look around this room, and I just see so many amazing allies that have platforms, and I think ally-ship right now needs to look differently, and you need to support trans people publicly and proudly,” Mulvaney said after winning the Breakout Creator award at the Streamy Awards.

She then clearly mocked the Bud Light outrage, saying “I’m gonna go have a beer, and I love ya.”

It’ll be interesting to see where Bud Light chooses to go during football season.
