Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Signed Seven Collegiates To NIL Deal
The former professional wrestler “The Rock” Dawayne Johnson has signed NIL deal with seven elite collegiates for his ZOA Energy Drink Brand.
Dwayne Johnson jumped into the name, Image and Likeness (NIL) deal for his new energy drink brand named ZOA. In his NIL deal, some of the biggest star athletes’ names are listed including Angel Reese, Brock Bowers, Amaya Gainer, and more.
The Rock introduced them as his annual program dubbed “The Rock’s Warriors.” Each athlete was selected by Johnson himself.
This NIL deal includes :
- LSU basketball player Angel Reese
- Georgia tight end Brock Bowers
- Austin Peay basketball player Hansel Enmanuel
- Florida A&M softball player Amaya Gainer
- Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.
- Miami safety Kamren Kinchens
- North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye
According to On3.com, The Rock released a statement about the ZOA and NIL deal on Wednesday.
He said, “Through this first-of-its-kind NIL expansion program, ZOA Energy will bring together some of the greatest college athletes of our time. I know from experience the grit and hard work that’s required of these college athletes to get the job done.”
” Not just during their championship games or in the classrooms, but every day in the game of life. ZOA gives people that power, that unique energy to fuel themselves and fuel others around them — that’s why I’m super pumped about uniting all of The Rock’s Warriors under one roof.”
He further shared more about the selection process for the NIL,
“I personally selected these phenomenal individuals because of the energy, tenacity, and excitement they bring to the game. With a diverse set of stories and experiences, they’re driven, hungry, talented and ready for ZOA to help fuel them to greatness.”
