Fenway Park flooded due to torrential rain and looked like a water park and less stadium. The fans didn’t expect the weather will turn into crystal clear sky to cloudy this fast.

Because of it, major league baseball games between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Mets was canceled on Friday night. And it was the right decision cause that rain turned into a downpour in no minute. The Mets were already leading the game 4-3 it had to be canceled because of a heavy shower.

Many fans posted a video of the Ballpark on their Twitter. The Red Sox third baseman Justin Turner is also one of them. Justin posted the video of the Fenway Park scene on his Twitter.

He joked, “I thought we could have played through it.”

Fans were also making videos of water flooding through a staircase that became a waterfall at one point.

One fan shared the video of the staircase, “This is Fenway Park, not a scene from Titanic.”

Some fans even turned the stadium into a pool and started to slide while enjoying.

The game will be restarted later this afternoon at 2:10 p.m. ET.
