Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle Left Joint Practice Due To Injury

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle left joint practice with the Atlanta Falcons due to his injury.

This is the second player of the Dolphins who got injured during practices. First, it was cornerback Jalen Ramsey, and now news of Miami’s WR Jaylen took a shot on ribs during the joint practice on Wednesday.

24-year-old Waddle reportedly suffered an injury to right midsection on Wednesday during a joint practice with the Atlanta Falcons.

Via ProfootballTalk, “Waddle went down after making a catch during team drills. He was favoring his right side, though he was able to walk off the field under his own power.”

Dolphins QB Tua also shared his concerns for Jaylen.

Waddle is one of the best Miami players who was drafted sixth overall by the Dolphins in the 2021 NFL Draft. He played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Waddle has an excellent scorecard since he landed on the Dolphins and has recorded 2,371 yards on 179 receptions and 14 touchdowns. He’s had 1,000 receiving yards in both of his first two seasons in the league.

Due to his chest injury, he might have missed some time in a preseason game.

Hope Jaylen Waddle gets well soon.
