Deion Sanders Stars in New KFC Commercial Amid Colorado Football’s Great Start

Deion Sanders, a well-known figure in college football, is now making waves as a coach and a popular personality.

Even before taking on the role of head coach for Colorado football, Deion Sanders was already associated with several endorsements. In preparation for the 2023 season, his family teamed up with KFC.

Shedeur Sanders, the star quarterback for the Colorado Buffaloes and Deion’s son, recently shared a video of their latest collaboration with the fast-food giant.

In the commercial, Shedeur can be seen enjoying some KFC chicken wings over a pristine white carpet, which surprises his siblings. He exchanges a playful look with his father before Coach Prime humorously interrupts, saying, “Man, cut the bull junk and give me one of the wings.”

With Colorado’s remarkable start, both Deion and Shedeur are likely to have numerous opportunities for endorsements. Taking over a program that only won one game the previous season, the Buffaloes have already achieved a notable 2-0 record, with impressive victories against TCU and Nebraska.

Shedeur is quickly emerging as one of the standout stars in college football, boasting impressive stats of 903 yards and six touchdowns. As a junior, he maintains an average of 10.1 yards per pass attempt.

According to On3, Shedeur’s annual NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) valuation has surged to an impressive $4.1 million, placing him just behind Bronny James, the son of LeBron James and a USC basketball player.

Capitalizing on his rapid rise to fame, Shedeur is expanding his horizons, while Deion is branching out beyond his familiar appearances in Aflac ads alongside Nick Saban.

College football enthusiasts might catch glimpses of the Sanders family in commercials airing on Saturday, just before Colorado faces Colorado State in a game scheduled for 10 p.m. ET on ESPN.
