Deion Sanders’ Focus on Buffaloes’ Success Over Personal Enjoyment
Deion Sanders has had a remarkable start to his tenure at Colorado, but he recently revealed that he hasn’t been able to savor his initial two games with the Buffaloes as much as you might expect.
Speaking to reporters, Sanders explained that he can’t dwell on the moment for too long because he’s committed to staying in the present.
“I don’t have time to enjoy the moment,” Sanders expressed. “Santa don’t have time. He’s got to deliver the gifts. He ain’t got time to enjoy his cookies. OK, that’s all he gets. I ain’t got time for that. I gotta keep it going.”
He further added, “I gotta keep this machine going and make sure we stay on the right path and make sure we’re locked in and focused on the right things. Making sure we’re practicing adequately. Making sure we’re giving it our all. Making sure we’re making the right adjustments and playing the proper personnel.”
