DeAndre Hopkins Had Four Teams In Mind Before Signed With Tennessee Titans
Titan wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins had four teams in his mind before signing with Tennessee this year.
DeAndre or DHop talked about his time before signing with Tenessee to the GQ Magazine. Wide receiver Deandre Hopkins reached out to four different NFL franchises including the New York Giants, Detroit Lions, Dallas Cowboys, and San Francisco 49ers.
After being released from the Arizona Cardinals, free agent DeAndre knocked on these four teams’ conference rooms but not a single team replied to him.
Hopkins said, “Detroit Lions, they didn’t want me. Dallas Cowboys didn’t want me. Giants didn’t want me. Sh*t. Who else ain’t want me? San Fran ain’t want me.”

Hopkins didn’t receive a single response from any of them. 30-year-old Hopkins took a breath after the Titans signed him in the end.
Hopkins is looking forward to facing off with these four teams on the gridiron and will make sure that they regret not replying to him.
Hopkins will play his first debut with the Titans against the New Orleans Saints, which will be kickoff at 1 p.m. ET.
