David Pollack Responds with Grace After ESPN Layoffs
Recently, ESPN had to let go of some talented people, including David Pollack, who was a college football expert.
David used to play football in college and was really good. He joined ESPN in 2009 and became a big part of their show called College GameDay.
After finding out that he was no longer going to work at ESPN, David went on Twitter to share his feelings about his time there. He said, “I think a lot of the news came out today, a lot of y’all heard I won’t be brought back to College GameDay next year or to ESPN. I just want to say thank you to so many people, I just appreciate everybody along the journey, 12-13 years ago, ESPN taking a chance on me and all the people I got to work with. Man, I got to work with some great people and do so many things that were so awesome for many years and I’m just thankful for it.”
David doesn’t know what he’ll do next, but he believes that God has good plans for him. Even after a serious injury ended his football career, he found success in TV, coaching, and speaking. He’s optimistic that something wonderful is waiting for him in the future.
