Davante Adams Criticizes Bills Player for ‘Unnecessary’ Move

The NFL 2023-24 season is on the hype and every team faces each other with their full strength, in the recent game, the Las Vegas Raiders faced off against the Buffalo Bills. The match ended with Bills winning the match with a score of 38-10.

Even though the Bills emerged victorious, the one player who got everyone’s heart during the game is from the Raiders. Raiders receiver Davante Adams was hit in the head while attempting to catch a pass late in Sunday’s game. The hit from safety Taylor Rapp came after the ball had been knocked out of Adams’ reach, making him a defenseless receiver.

Due to this Rapp has to face an unnecessary roughness penalty, but Adams clearly wasn’t happy after having to enter the league’s concussion protocol.

“Was it unnecessary? Completely, obviously,” Adams told reporters on Wednesday after being cleared from the concussion protocol.

“But, certain players play a certain way, too. Some people, out of control, they fly around, they don’t really have much true purpose out there. I mean, playing a half field on one side, you run over and hit somebody in the head on the other side of the field.”

Adams said that the play in question is why Rapp probably doesn’t play as much as some of his teammates in the Bills secondary.

“That’s why you’re in when you’re blowing us out by 25 at the end of the game,” said the receiver.

“Maybe if that man learns how to play the game the right way, he’ll see the field. Until then, he’ll have to go and live off of plays like that, I guess.”

It’s clear that there’s no affection between Adams and Rapp after the hit.
