Dark and Darker Full Release Update
Welcome to the BullScore E-Sports News Section. In this article, I am going to discuss one of the most-awaiting battle-royale e-game ‘Dark and Darker‘. This game is developed by Ironmace and it is expected to be published for only one platform currently, Microsoft Windows. However, previously the expected release date of Dark and Darker was in April/May 2023. But, due to a lawsuit filed by Nexon (South Korean Video Game Company), the date has been postponed.
Here’s the complete story of Nexon’s lawsuit filed against Ironmace:
In February 2023, Nexon claimed that the Ironmace developer’s team has copied some similarities in the upcoming e-game, Dark and Darker. And, Nexon decided to file a lawsuit against the company.
In March 2023, Investigation begins, and the Ironmace company was forced to delist their game (Dark and Darker) from the e-game marketplace platform STEAM.
In April 2023, Earlier this month, Ironmace started the playtest program for the fifth time. But, this time the game was distributed through BitTorrent instead of STEAM.
Dark and Darker Release Update (Latest)
The exact release date of Dark and Darker is still not announced by the Ironmace team. But, according to the sources of Esports professionals, it is expected that the game will start early-access in May/June 2023. And, the full release of the game will be in the Fourth Quarter of 2023 (i.e., October/November/December).
This game is initially going to be released for Microsoft Windows only. And, later on, the developers will release it on other platforms also.
Will Dark and Darker be Free?
The short answer is ‘No’. The team of Ironmace will release it for the base price (not announced yet). Players have to buy this game to play.
