Danica Patrick’s Reason Why She Had to Fire Her Parents

Danica Patrick, an American race car driver once had her parents, T.J. and Bev, working in her team but then she had to fire them because of an unknown reason. But that reason has been revealed. 

In an interview with Graham Bensinger, Patrick revealed that she feels like she was  “manipulated” into firing her parents.

According to 41 years old racer, her ex-husband, Paul Edward manipulated her to fire her parents.

“I was in a relationship where I was forced to choose (between my husband and my parents),” she explained.

“Once I started understanding what I really wanted in life…I realized how important my family was to me.”

Patrick added that she didn’t she her parents at Thanksgiving and Christmas for five straight years due to her marriage.

Patrick also mentioned that working with family may not always be ideal, and there were aspects of their working relationship that could have been improved. However, she believes that her parents had her best interests at heart and simply wanted what was best for her.
