Damian Lillard Trading To Heat Rumors, Portland Trail Blazers

Damian Lillard, An American Basketball player made a request for a trade that has surprised a lot of people. This was a sudden decision from Lillard which is going to have a huge impact on NBA going forward.

Lillard is one of the best players in the NBA and is also the one who can take the team to victory. But for him to make a trade decision is not a good sign for his current team. As for the team he wants to join, he made it clear that he is expecting to be a part of the Miami Heat. Lillard’s relationship with Bam Adebayo and the Allure of Playing with Jimmy Butler is better for him. But what does Portland think about this possible move?

According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, the Blazers are not focused on satisfying Lillard’s desires. Their main objective is to get the best possible trade package for their superstar player.

“But in the early stages of this latest superstar saga, there are strong indications that Cronin won’t settle on a Heat deal if he doesn’t truly believe it’s what’s best for the franchise,” he wrote.

This aligns with something ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski wrote in recent days as well.

“Front offices talking to Portland today were left with impression that GM Joe Cronin is pursuing a star-level return package for Damian Lillard – and that Cronin plans to look well beyond the Miami Heat to find one,” he noted.

If Portland considers options other than Miami, a surprising team has entered the race for Lillard’s services recently.

It still not fix if the Blazers will consider this possibility. Lillard has made it clear that he wants to play for the Miami Heat, not the Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Clippers, or San Antonio Spurs.
