Damar Hamlin Fully Recovers From Cardiac Arrest Ready For Training Camp

Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin has fully recovered from cardiac arrest in January and is ready to join the training camp.

Amid the game, millions of watchers witnessed Damar Hamlin collapse due to cardiac arrest while tackling the Bengals. Damar Hamlin’s recovery from his cardiac arrest inspired so many people. He even responded to Bronny James’ recent cardiac arrest and offered help.

25-year-old Damar has fully recovered from his cardiac condition and three doctors already cleared him in April. Yet there are so many who believe it’s dangerous to go too soon in the field.

On Wednesday, the Buffalo Bills announced that Damar was already cleared back in April and he is officially fully able to participate in training camp.

Via the team’s Twitter account, Head Coach Sean McDermott, “Damar Hamlin will be a full go at training camp and we’re behind him 100%. We’ll go at his cadence,”

Damar Hamlin was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the 2021 NFL Draft’s sixth-round pick out of the University of Pittsburgh. He was in his 16th week when cardiac arrest hit him in the middle of the game.

However, Hamlin joined Bill’s Organized Training Activities (OTA’s) in June. After the Bills’ announcement, Damar Hamlin’s comeback has been confirmed, and soon he will join his other teammates.
