Crossplay and Cross-Platform Updates for Ark Survival Evolved Game
Ark: Survival Evolved is an electronic game developed and published by Studio Wildcard. It was initially released in November 2020 and is currently available on Mobile, PC, Xbox, PSP, and Nintendo consoles. It is popular for multiplayer mode and that’s the key feature among the players to keep playing this game. In this game, the user started as a naked character and he has to find all the necessary items in order to survive in the game.
While being a popular survivor game among e-game players, it is still a big question for them whether the developers will launch Cross-Platform updates in the future or not.
Overview of CrossPlay Update
The short answer is ‘YES’. The team of developers of Ark: Survival Evolved has already launched the crossplay feature where two or more players from different streams can play and enjoy the game together. For example, if your friend is playing this game on Xbox and you are playing this game on PSP, you both can enjoy this game together through the crossplay multiplayer feature.
And, there’s another way you can enjoy the game through cross-gen of the same stream. For example, if you used to play this game on PS4 and now you have PS5, you can still enjoy this game without losing your progress in the game.
Future of Cross-Platform Update
There is no official declaration or statement from the developers of Ark: Survival Evolved game. But, it is highly expected or presumed that like other big names in the industry of e-games, Studio Wildcard’s team will soon launch this feature for the users. As of now, the only cross-platforms this game supports are PC and Xbox.
Users who are playing on PC or Xbox can take benefit of this feature but other users have to wait for an unknown period of time.
