Cricket Stadium in China Sparks Hilarious Fan Reactions

Fans are having a good laugh with funny memes after a picture of a cricket stadium being used in China went viral.

The Asian Games, which were postponed, have finally started in Hangzhou, China. What makes this year special is that there’s cricket included for both men and women, in the T20 format. People are excited about it, and pictures of the cricket stadium in Hangzhou have become really popular on social media, getting lots of reactions from fans.

It’s interesting to note that all the cricket matches in this event will be held at the Pingfeng Campus Cricket Field in Hangzhou.

Some fans are joking about the small size of the boundary, while others think we might see some record-breaking performances due to the field’s dimensions. Some are even hoping for lots of sixes from Indian batters like Rinku Singh.

In the women’s cricket tournament at the Asian Games 2023, the first quarterfinal between India Women and Malaysia Women got rained out. India Women had scored 173/2 in 15 overs, and Malaysia Women had made 1/0 in 0.2 overs before the rain came, and they couldn’t play anymore. India’s opponent for the semifinals in the Women’s competition is still undecided, with their match scheduled for September 24.

As for the men’s side, they have their quarterfinal match scheduled for October 3.
