‘No Huge Gap’ Between Cowboys And Eagles, Said DeMarcus Lawrence
Cowboys Player DeMarcus Lawrence said there is ‘no huge’ gap between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles.
An Interesting comment coming from the DeMarcus defensive end of the Cowboys. Only a few months away from starting the NFL and already drama has been started between the Eagles and the Cowboys.
While in an interview DeMarcus said to Rob Maadi of the Associated Press this week that there isn’t a huge gap between the Cowboys and Eagles. Both franchises heading into the NFL 2023 season.
31 years old Lawrence said, “I don’t feel like it’s a huge gap at all, I feel like it comes down to certain details. Not just the scheme, but also your locker room. I feel like through this time right now when we’re headed to training camp, that we made those adjustments, we learned those different things that we need to learn about our teammates so we can fully function the way we should out there on the field.”
If we see the record there isn’t a huge gap, where the Cowboys owned a 12-5 record last season, and the Eagles, only went 14-3 record. Not too far, right?
So technically DeMarcus has a point.
The only difference is that Philadelphia had success in the postseason whereas dallas failed to get out of the Divisional Round.
