Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones Denies Ex-NFL Reporter Jim Trotter Allegations

The Dallas Cowboys owner finally spoke about Ex-NFL Network reporter Jim Trotter’s allegations.

former NFL network reporter Jim Trotter filed a lawsuit against Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. In lawsuit discrimination, Trotter accused Jones of some racial remarks made against the Black.

Trotter claimed that Jones said the following when asked why NFL owners don’t hire more Black employees into key decision-making positions: “If Blacks feel some kind of way, they should buy their own team and hire who they want to hire.”

In an interview with Pro Football reporters, Jones declined Trotter’s claims. Jones said,

“Jim’s a friend and I think a lot of him. I hate that we’ve got some litigation and hopefully, we will address all of that, but the overall concern I would say is just not accurate.”

Jones said he is eager to bring more diversity to the team’s crew and he works at it. Jones said,

“[There are] multiple ways to address inequity. Multiple ways to go do it. And certainly, I would think about one way is to try to work to get ownership improved in the minority area. And I’m all for it and I do it. I work at it. I work at it.”

Trotter also accused Bills owner Terry Pegula of saying Black players “should go back to Africa” in response to their protesting racial injustice.

Cowboys never had a black head coach in history, and not even in the coaching crew. But Jerry Jones seemed determined to change the Trotter’s allegations.

Jones said he’d “walk across Texas” to improve the NFL’s ownership group.

Jones is ready to bring the change.
