Cowboys’ Newest Roster Addition Has Mike McCarthy Excited
The Dallas Cowboys finally got a new player on their team. They were looking for someone to replace Leighton Vander Esch, who has been injured for a long time.
According to the latest reports, the Cowboys had signed Rashaan Evans, who used to be a first-round pick, to their practice squad, and The head coach, Mike McCarthy, is really excited about this new addition.
“I think Will McClay does an excellent job and obviously there’s some feedback from individuals in his past. He had a really good workout. Of the candidates we brought in, we clearly felt he was the best fit.”
Former Alabama player Rashaan Evans was also with the Tennessee Titans for four seasons and then the Atlanta Falcons for one season.
In his time in the NFL, he made 476 tackles, got five sacks, caused five turnovers, forced two fumbles, and had two interceptions.
