Carlos Correa Leaves Fans Disappointed with Withdrawal from World Baseball Classic

Carlos Correa, the shortstop for the Minnesota Twins, has disappointed fans with his recent announcement that he will not be participating in the World Baseball Classic this year. The Twins and Correa have reached an agreement on the matter, as Correa is focused on preparing for the upcoming Twins season and the arrival of his second son next month.

Fans of Puerto Rico were eagerly anticipating Correa’s participation in the WBC, as he was one of the team’s top players. He had agreed to terms with the Giants and the Mets on long-term contracts, but both teams backed out due to medical concerns. Correa ultimately returned to the Twins on a 6-year, $200 million deal.
