Colorado’s First Lose Prediction From Urban Meyer

Heading this year’s college football season, the Colorado Buffaloes surprised everyone by becoming one of the best teams in the championship. Just the last year they were struggling just to maintain their position in the series and had a really rough time.

Since one of the most prominent coaches Deion Sanders has joined the team, he has changed the situation a lot. In last season they only won one game but in this year’s series things have changed completely. Up to now they have played 3 games and haven’t lost a single match and they are at a 3-0 score.

However, three-time national champion coach Urban Meyer thinks their undefeated run will come to an end on Saturday against the Oregon Ducks.

“I don’t think they will. I think that’ll be a tough go for them,” Meyer said in a recent podcast appearance, via On3Sports. “It’s on the road. They’re without Travis Hunter. But I’m looking at this team, they’ll be bowl-eligible. They’ll win enough games.”

While he doesn’t think the Buffaloes will get the win, he explained how Colorado can make life difficult for the Ducks.

“This’ll be a tough go,” he said. “I get it, at times it looks different, but behind the scenes now, he’s a football coach and that’s a football team and they’re good. You know how I feel about toughness. The great thing about this game, you could maybe make it look a little different. Call it the spread offense. Make it look a little different, sunglasses or whatever it is.”

“At the end of the day, if you have practice on Tuesday and Wednesday, and you bloody your nose and you’re tough, and you know how to fight through stuff, you’re going to win games, and that’s what they’re doing. So don’t get confused by some of the stuff you see, because behind the scenes he’s an excellent football coach, he’s got a great staff and good players, and they’re tough.”

Colorado and Oregon kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
