Colorado Player Apologizes For Postgame Incident With Oregon Fan
The Colorado Buffaloes football team had a bad day on Saturday in more ways than one.
On the field, Oregon thrashed the Buffaloes 42-6, handing them their first defeat of the year. The Colorado players received criticism for their “classless” conduct off the field.
A Colorado Buffaloes player has expressed regret for his postgame altercation with an Oregon supporter.
A bandana was torn off the head of an Oregon Ducks supporter as he departed the field by Colorado linebacker Brendan Gant.
The linebacker has expressed regret on social media.
Because of his displeasure, he stated, “Yesterday after the game, I made a wrong decision toward a fan because a fan is a fan.” “I know better, and to me, that was unacceptable and should have been prevented; I apologize to that fans and more especially to that person. I apologize because it isn’t who I am, what I stand for, or what Colorado football is all about.
Well, he is done to the Colorado Buffaloes linebacker for taking responsibility for his poor choice.
The Buffaloes will be back on the field the following weekend to take on USC in yet another incredibly challenging game.
