Chris Paul Gets Honest Admission About His Relationship With Stephen Curry
Chris Paul, an American professional basketball player and also a former player of the Golden State Warriors who was then traded to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Jordan Poole recently expressed his honest admission about his relationship with Stephen Curry.
During the offseason, Paul was put to the trade by the Warriors traded who was a very accomplished point guard for them. Since that day, everyone is curious about whether Paul will be able to fit into the team or not, both in terms of playing style and team dynamics, especially considering the history between his previous teams and the Warriors.
Recently, Paul appeared on ESPN and addressed some of these concerns by talking about his relationship with Stephen Curry. What he said during the interview was quite revealing.
“Me and Steph have known each other a long time,” Paul said.
“My wife was at his wedding, I think he and his wife was at our wedding. But we’ve known each other for a very long time.
“So I’m excited to get a chance to play alongside him, Klay [Thompson], [Andrew Wiggins], Draymond [Green], all them man. They got an unbelievable organization and that team is just, they’ve been playing together for a while and they know what they’re doing.”
Recently, the coach of the Warriors, Steve Kerr, openly explained why the team’s management decided to make the trade. It seems that the situation with Jordan Poole was becoming difficult to handle, and this trade was considered the best option available.
However, there’s no guarantee that the trade will be successful. It’s a risk that everyone involved thought was worth taking. Will Stephen Curry and the Warriors help Chris Paul win his first NBA championship? We will find out in the upcoming season.
