Chiefs Player Criticized for Rule Violation in NFL Opener, Says Cris Collinsworth

In the recent NFL season opener between the Detroit Lions and the Kansas City Chiefs, there’s been a lot of talk about the referees making mistakes. Most of the fuss is because a player from the Chiefs, Jawaan Taylor, didn’t follow the rules, and Cris Collinsworth from NBC pointed it out.

During the game, Jawaan Taylor, who plays as the right tackle for the Chiefs, kept getting into the wrong position on the field. Oddly enough, the referees didn’t give him any penalties for this until the game was almost over. That’s when Collinsworth decided to speak up and mentioned how Taylor was breaking the rules.

Collinsworth couldn’t help but laugh a bit when he said, “There you see Jawaan Taylor playing slot receiver finally got busted on one.”

But the fans watching the game weren’t laughing. They were pretty upset that Taylor and the Chiefs seemed to be getting away with breaking the rules for most of the game. Some of them even said:

One fan said, “And he still didn’t get called for not being on the line.”

Another fan wrote, “I was watching this all game wondering if I was going insane… Collinsworth literally bringing in the NFL Ref Analysis who was like yeah “not even close.” Glad the Lions took this game.”

A third fan made a joke, saying, “Hahhaha they don’t call it all game !! Finally called it there.”

When someone like Cris Collinsworth, who knows a lot about football, says you messed up, you know you messed up big time.
