CBS Veteran Host Bob Barker Died At 99, Who Hosts “The Price Is Right”
Veteran Bob Marker who hosts the CBC game show “Price Is Right” passed away this Saturday.
According to the TMZ report, Barker died peacefully at his home in Los Angeles. He died of natural causes.
In 1972, Barker became the host of “The Price Is Right.” 99-year-old Bob Barker hosted the show for 29 years on the same network after that he retired in 2017.
He broke the record of Johnny Carson’s record for the longest continuing performance on the same network television show.
Before joining America’s no. 1 gaming show “Price is Right” (still in continuity), Barker hosted the “Truth or Consequences.

Robert Thompson, the director of the Bleier Center for Television and Popular Culture at Syracuse University said great things about veteran host Barker.
Via NBC News, Thompson said,
“From the black and white era of television right up to the new century, Bob Barker had a real presence on two really big shows.”
He added, “Secondly, you’ve got some game shows where the host just stands behind a podium, but Barker really interacted with regular people. And he was particularly good at it.”
Bob Barker will always be remembered by his fans.
