Jon Gruden might make a surprise comeback to the NFL.

The former Las Vegas Raiders coach resigned after the New York Times revealed emails from 2011 in which he made racial remarks about the NFL Players Association’s executive director, DeMaurice Smith. He stated:

“Dumboriss Smith has lips the size of Michelin tires.”

The emails were uncovered during an NFL inquiry involving claims of workplace misbehavior against the Washington Commanders’ senior staff.

Gruden apologized for the emails and stated that he typed the statement out of anger but did not have ‘a blade of racism’ in him. Raiders owner Mark Davis did not terminate the club’s coach, but he did label the statements ‘disturbing’ and not representative of the franchise.

Gruden filed a lawsuit against the NFL two weeks after resigning as Raiders coach, accusing the organization of orchestrating a “malicious and orchestrated campaign” to push him to leave as Las Vegas coach. According to reports, the Raiders would gladly re-hire their previous coach.

Fans on social media were perplexed by the claim and chastised the Raiders for even considering re-hiring Gruden, with one tweeting:

“It’s no surprise they’ve devolved into the shambles of a franchise.” Everything makes so much sense now.”

Here are some of the most popular comments:

Lawsuit filed by Jon Gruden against NFL

In his complaint, Jon Gruden alleged that it was his deliberate goal for the NFL to reveal the emails he sent to the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, containing offensive remarks based on race.

According to the former coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, the revelations ‘destroyed his career and ruined endorsement negotiations.’ To little success, the NFL has attempted to have the case dismissed. Gruden is suing the league for millions of dollars in damages.

According to Hondo Carpenter of Sports Illustrated, the NFL is concerned about the possible publicity that a hearing may bring. In an interview with Inside the Raiders, he stated:

“A lot of people believe that Jon Gruden’s lawsuit is going to take Roger Goodell out, and it’s going to embarrass a lot of people.” Now that Nevada courts continue to support (Gruden’s lawsuit), it’s coming up on potential discovery. If you know anything about the legal system, in discovery, Jon’s going to be able to ask any question he wants.”

Gruden is aware of “where everybody is buried in the NFL,” Carpenter continued. He continued by saying that the NFL will permit Raiders owner Mark Davis to reinstate the team’s former coach following Josh McDaniels’ firing:

“Several league insiders have told me that the NFL would implicitly approve of Jon returning for a second job if he were to withdraw his lawsuit.”

Gruden’s return to the Raiders would rank among the NFL’s greatest unexpected comebacks ever.

D’Andre Swift injury status: What you need to know for Week 13 Fantasy Football

This week’s injury list includes D’Andre Swift. He’s been a surprise for fantasy managers, as he’s listed among the top 10 running backs despite being expected to be a committee back with Kenneth Gainwell.

Even in a difficult matchup, some managers rely on Swift’s presence.

D’Andre Swift’s injury status has been updated.

D’Andre Swift has been out with an ankle injury for some time. He was on the injury report last week because of that, and he was added to it again this week.

Last week, he was limited before playing and gaining 80 yards on 14 tries. In addition, he caught one pass in an overtime victory over the Buffalo Bills.

This week’s limitations for the Philadelphia Eagles star do not appear to be reason for alarm. Many players are injured this late in the season, but he hasn’t lost any time and doesn’t appear to be on the verge of doing so.

He has been active and played in every game the Eagles have played this season as they have marched to a 10-1 record and atop the NFL standings. Swift has been a crucial contributor and has been utilized to great advantage. Fortunately, it appears that will remain the same this week against the San Francisco 49ers. He has been active and played in every game the Eagles have played this season as they have marched to a 10-1 record and atop the NFL standings. Swift has been a crucial contributor and has been utilized to great advantage. Fortunately, it appears that will remain the same this week against the San Francisco 49ers.

What became to D’Andre Swift?

D’Andre Swift’s status change from Healthy to Questionable yesterday most certainly made his fantasy manager’s heart sink. It’s never a good omen when a player sustains an injury, but Swift was uninjured.

Despite having an ankle ailment, he played the entire game last week. He didn’t have to leave because of an injury, and it didn’t happen in a specific play.

His ankle is a bit sprained, and the normal workload of an NFL game adds to the problem. The good news is that the great running back is just missing a few practices and is not completely out.

Swift’s condition will be evaluated throughout the week, but it does not look like he has a serious injury at this time.

When can we expect D’Andre Swift to return?

Despite the questionable condition, all indications lean to Swift being active on Sunday. That’s a good thing since the Eagles face their biggest test yet against the 49ers.

They’re especially formidable against running backs, so even if Swift is healthy, it’ll be a difficult battle. Furthermore, if he is failing to gain yardage, the score cannot be relied on to save him. On the Eagles’ QB sneak play, all goal-line carries go through Jalen Hurts.

If Swift is unable to play this weekend, which would jeopardize the Eagles’ prospects of sustaining their success, he might return in Week 14 against another critical opponent: the Dallas Cowboys.

However, it would be a surprise if he’s out of the lineup this weekend, given the current information.

Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift spend quality time in Kansas City with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have become one of the world’s most popular couples. In the previous several months, the All-Pro tight end and the pop sensation have seen one other in numerous nations. Fans will most likely see them together in Kansas City now that Swift’s Eras Tour is on hold until February.

According to the Daily Mail, the pair spent time with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, another power couple. Swift and Kelce did not appear together at Mahomes’ $8 million estate.

They arrived at the huge house of the two-time Super Bowl MVP and his wife separately, accompanied by Swift’s security crew. The All-Pro tight end came in a red hooded Rolls Royce Ghost while Swift was transported to the estate just before him.

The two spouses spent several hours together at the sprawling estate, which includes a full-length football field with Patrick Mahomes’ name and emblem in the end zone. Here are some photos of the mansion and football field:

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end enhanced his house by following in the footsteps of his colleagues.

Travis Kelce relocated to a residence less than 15 minutes away in order to spend more time alone with Swift. According to rumors, Kelce is hoping to spend the Christmas holiday with her family because her birthday is next month.

A moving vehicle was observed at Kelce’s new property, according to the Daily Mail. Swift went nearly 5,000 miles from Sao Paolo, Brazil, to Kansas City to spend the next few weeks with Travis Kelce.

Tom Brady accepts Morgan Wallen’s golf challenge in advance of the Pebble Beach Pro-Am

Tom Brady may have retired from professional football, but his competitive spirit lives on. The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback has been working hard in preparation for the PGA Tour’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in February.

Brady posted a video on Instagram to show his fans how he was preparing for the event.

Morgan Wallen, a country music sensation, responded to Brady’s clip. On Instagram stories, he shared the retiring quarterback’s message and asked:

“When are we playing a match?”

Brady responded:

“LFG, Morgan Wallen.”

Fans will enjoy seeing Brady and Wallen compete for dominance on the golf field.

Tom Brady’s golf career: The retired quarterback will compete against professionals at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Tom Brady’s passion for golf is well-documented, and he is no stranger to competing on the course.

In 2020, he will compete in The Match: Champions for Charity alongside six-time Major winner Phil Mickelson against 15-time Major winner Tiger Woods and retired NFL quarterback Peyton Manning. A single shot defeated Brady and Mickelson.

Brady and Mickelson will face four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers and 2020 U.S. Open winner Bryce DeChambeau in the fourth edition of The Match in 2021. Brady and Mickelson were defeated once more, dropping their record to 0-2 as a team.

Brady and Rodgers battled Kansas City Chiefs standout Patrick Mahomes and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen in the sixth edition of The Match.

The seven-time Super Bowl champs finally broke his duck as he and Rodger outlasted their younger opponents.

Brady has had plenty of time to polish his golfing talents since retiring at the end of the 2022 NFL season. In retirement, the quarterback has remained active, joining the ownership group of the Las Vegas Raiders and purchasing a share in the English soccer team Birmingham City.

Brady’s main focus since hanging up his boots appears to be golf. The Pebble Beach Pro-Am pits amateurs against the world’s best professional golfers. Brady is preparing to go to war on his own and attempt to become a golfer.

Is Bailey Zappe starting in Week 13?

The New England Patriots’ slide continued in Week 12 when they were defeated 10-7 by the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium. The Patriots failed to reach double digits for the second consecutive game, indicating their offensive woes.

Mac Jones had again another poor performance, completing only 12 of 21 pass attempts for 89 yards. He also had two interceptions before being pulled from the game in the second half. Bailey Zappe, the backup quarterback, took over, but things could have improved more. He only tried 14 throws, completing nine for 54 yards and throwing an interception.

Zappe drove the Patriots’ offense down the field on the game’s last drive, setting up a game-tying field goal that would have taken the game to overtime. The Giants won, however, because kicker Chad Ryland missed wide left.

While the loss stings, the Patriots may take heart in the fact that the Giants advanced to 4-8, 1.5 games ahead of New England, and retain the tiebreaker, assuring that they will be drafted lower than the Patriots in the 2024 NFL Draft if the two teams end with the same record.

The New England Patriots have the third overall pick, while the Chicago Bears and Arizona Cardinals have the first and second picks, respectively.

Bailey Zappe will make his Patriots debut in Week 13.

After benching Mac Jones four times in 11 games, the Patriots have chosen to keep him on the bench indefinitely and play backup Bailey Zappe against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

Zappe, the Patriots’ fourth-round draft selection in 2022, appeared in four games last season, starting two. He threw for 781 yards and five touchdowns on 65 of 92 attempts. He threw three interceptions, but the Patriots won both games in which he started.

This season, Zappe filled in for Jones in all four games where he was benched. The second-year quarterback has tried 39 passes but has only completed 19 for 158 yards. He has thrown two interceptions and 0 touchdown passes.

Since their Week 7 victory over the Buffalo Bills, the Patriots have lost four straight games. They absolutely need a win to break their losing streak. The Chargers are also coming off three consecutive losses.

The matchup on Sunday provides an excellent opportunity for the Patriots to capitalize on a struggling club and stop their losing streak.

Why is Von Miller being detained? Bills LB is in serious danger in a domestic violence allegation

According to WFAA, Buffalo Bills linebacker Von Miller is facing arrest as a result of a domestic abuse case in Dallas, Texas. On Thursday morning, an arrest warrant was issued for him.

According to sources, the linebacker’s longtime girlfriend has leveled an accusation against him, saying that he physically abused her on Wednesday at their Dallas home. Miller’s girlfriend is expecting a child. According to reports, Miller’s attorney has been alerted about the matter and the fact that a formal warrant has been issued.

Von Miller is facing charges of assault on a pregnant woman.

Miller was not in custody at the time of writing. The Bills are on bye this week, so the linebacker is at home in Dallas rather than with the team.

This is not the former Los Angeles Rams star’s first run-in with the police. Miller was being investigated in 2021, but the district attorney’s office declined to press charges. Ultimately, the contents of that case were kept hidden, and he suffered no legal or NFL repercussions.

The top pass rusher is facing a third-degree felony accusation of abusing a pregnant person. The former Denver Broncos star has not spoken, but the organization has issued the following statement:

“We were made aware of an incident involving Von Miller this morning.” We are seeking further information and will have no further comment at this time.”

Regardless of whether the issue is resolved and charges are made against Miller, the NFL will likely investigate and decide on a potential penalty. At the time of writing, the only thing that had occurred was the issuance of the arrest warrant.

Miller just signed a six-year, $120 million contract with the Bills after departing the franchise with which he won the 2021 Super Bowl. He has a ton of sacks as one of the best edge rushers of this age, but his career is now in doubt.

Update on AJ Dillon’s injury: Packers RB for SNF Week 13 Fantasy Football

The Green Bay Packers backfield this season has been surprising due to AJ Dillon and Aaron Jones. With Jones’ injuries and now Dillon’s issues, determining who will play in the next game has become a weekly concern.

AJ Dillon Injury Update

The Packers running back has a groin ailment that has already limited his participation in the team’s practice this week. Dillon did not practice with Aaron Jones and Jayden Reed on Wednesday. While Jones’ availability has fluctuated this season, Reed, despite a dubious weekly categorization, has been consistently accessible.

Based on this opinion, one could flip a coin. Dillon did not miss a single practice last week due to the injury, according to the Green Bay Packers injury report. He did practice in a restricted capacity all week, but he was on the field.

His absence from practice on Wednesday is concerning, and it casts even more questions on his availability than it did last week.

What happened to AJ Dillon?

At the start of Week 12, AJ Dillon was placed on injured reserve with a groin injury. He logged 14 carries for 43 yards and an average of 3.1 yards per run despite missing part of practice all week in preparation for the team’s Thanksgiving game against the Detroit Lions.

Due to a groin ailment, the running back missed his first session. He had nearly a full week to heal after the squad played last Thursday, but instead began the week behind where he left off the previous week.

He may be able to play this week, and the Wednesday sit out was only a precautionary measure to give him a full week to heal.

When will AJ Dillon be back?

At this time, anything other than “questionable” would be either too optimistic or overly pessimistic. To put it simply, it’s too early to know. The circumstances, however, warrant his appearance on Sunday. To begin with, it’s a matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, who will necessitate every hand on deck in order to win.

Second, with the Packers (5-6) fighting for a postseason place, they can’t afford to take a chance by resting a player. Third, because the game is on Sunday Night Football, Dillon has an additional opportunity to capture the attention of every football fan in the country. Such a chance would be impossible to pass up.

Kayla Nicole, Travis Kelce’s ex, discusses ‘friendship breakups’ one month after unfollowing Brittany Mahomes.

Kayla Nicole unfollowed Brittany Mahomes on social media earlier this year. Fans were perplexed by their ‘friendship separation’ because they were usually so close. Many speculated on the explanation, citing Travis Kelce’s current friendship with Taylor Swift.

Nicole wanted to move on and make a place for herself, making a point of addressing a few issues publicly. Kayla came to Instagram around a month after the unfollowing to speak about ‘friendship breakups,’ advising people on how to deal with them:

“Friendship breakups are difficult. However, it is a part of life. People aren’t always destined to be in your life for the long haul. Allow yourself time and space to mourn since losing that link may be terrible.”

“However, acknowledge the bounty and beauty of your remaining friendships.” Change your attention from what you’ve lost to what you’ve kept, and even more thrilling, the new friendships you’ve formed over time.”

Nicole, of course, avoided naming any individuals.

She also mentioned drowning out the noise, presumably alluding to internet trolls:

“‘More’ is never given by someone who has more. More affection. More happiness. More tranquillity.” “Misery enjoys company,” she concluded.

‘Hate’ is a reflection of a person’s self-worth. I’m not required to accept or entertain it.”

Kayla Nicole unfollowed Brittany Mahomes for what reason?

Kayla Nicole was questioned about Brittany Mahomes and their public divorce during an exclusive interview with PEOPLE. For months, the two had been close friends, even coming up to support one other following her separation from Travis Kelce.

Despite her desire for solitude, Nicole responded that she wanted to address a few issues publicly:

“I believe it is important to address this publicly because I did publicly unfollow people.” The truth is that I know these folks in real life. So, in real life, I’ve explained to these folks why I had to make these public judgments.”

She emphasized her developing ties with everyone and how her separation from Kelce did not mean the end of her friendships with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes.

She hoped, however, that everyone would accept her decision in the future:

“But I have to move forward in my life, and everyone has to respect that.” And ideally, when they appreciate that, it means they’ll stop including me in things that don’t concern me.”

Though Kayla has publicly addressed the issue, Brittany Mahomes has yet to do so. The fitness trainer has been spotted with Taylor Swift and the singer’s friends, drawing attention to Brittany Mahomes’ new buddy group.

The tight end Mark Andrews, who hurt his ankle against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 11, underwent surgery and was put on injured reserve, the Baltimore Ravens said on Sunday.

Andrews will thus be out for a minimum of four games. After suffering a fractured fibula and damage to his ankle ligaments, the organization apparently anticipated for him to miss the rest of the season.

However, head coach John Harbaugh provided some encouraging news last week about the three-time Pro Bowler’s health.

During a Monday news conference, Harbaugh said,

“From what I’ve heard from our trainer and the medics, it wasn’t as awful as first thought. Things turned out better than they could have. It’s cleaner than they thought, according to the MRI.”

This update gives some optimism, even if there isn’t much information on the tight end returning this season.

Andrews’s return this season “might be an outside chance,” according to Harbaugh, particularly if the Ravens can make it farther in the postseason.

In his ten games this season, Mark Andrews has 45 catches for 544 yards and six receiving touchdowns. Before he was injured during the Ravens’ 38-20 victory against the Bengals in Week 11, he was second on the club in receptions and receiving yards, only surpassed by rookie wideout Zay Flowers.

Mark Andrews: What happened to him?

Mark Andrews suffered an ankle injury early in his team’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals as a result of a hip-drop hit from opposing linebacker Logan Wilson.

The league has seen controversy about this type of tackle because of the several high-profile injuries it has caused.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was also the victim of a hip-drop tackle during the previous season’s playoffs, raising the subject of whether or not similar plays should be prohibited.

Following the Week 11 game, John Harbaugh said during a news conference that Andrews’ injury was serious and seemed to be “a season-ending injury.” But he then clarified that the harm might have been better than it originally appeared.

The Ravens, who defeated the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 12, are now ahead of the AFC at 9-3 with five games left. Considering that the club is all but guaranteed a postseason place, Andrews may still play for them this season.

Whoopi Goldberg is defending Dolly Parton’s Thanksgiving halftime outift.

Whoopi Goldberg recently praised Dolly Parton’s well-liked halftime act, a legend in the country music industry. At the traditional Thanksgiving afternoon game between the Dallas Cowboys, Parton performed during halftime. She was on a stage covered with the famous star, dressed as a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.

For the most part, spectators and NFL fans enjoyed her performance. On social media, several viewers, however, attacked the 77-year-old for dressing inappropriately. The comedian and co-host of “The View” on ABC discussed their remarks from Monday’s episode:

“She should act her age, some critics advised.” Bite me.

Goldberg’s other hosts supported Parton and agreed with her. Sara Haines backed the singer’s argument that she doesn’t have to “act her age,” as well.

She appears her age. She is not required to act her years.

Sunny Hostin, a fellow co-host, complimented Parton:

“As far as Dolly is concerned, I might have everything out if I looked like that in one of those Cowboy things.”

One of the most viewed games was the Cowboys and Dolly Parton halftime entertainment.

When the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears faced off on Thanksgiving, rapper Jack Harlow performed the halftime act. Several fans and watchers thought his performance was lackluster.

At AT&T Stadium later in the day, Dolly Parton sang some of her best-known Queen songs. 45–10 in favor of the Dallas Cowboys over the Washington Commanders.

CBS Sports reports that the event drew 41.438 million viewers and peaked at 44.265 million. Since Super Bowl LVII in February, it was the highest-viewed telecast on any network or in any genre. The match was the third-most-watched NFL game in league history, according to NFL ratings.

It was also the most streamed NFL game ever, according to a record set by CBS’s streaming service Paramount+.
