Carlo Ancelotti recalls the time Klopp gifted him a vape
Klopp and Ancelotti have had a long relationship since the time the Italian was in the Premier League managing Everton while the German guided Merseyside rivals, Liverpool. Both Champions League-winning coaches have mutual respect and are always found praising each other’s qualities. Prior to their meeting in the last-16 of the Champions League, the Italian recalled the time when the Reds boss used to send him gifts during his time at Everton.
WHAT THEY SAID:
While in conversation with Sky Sports Italia, Ancelotti hailed Klopp, saying: “We have a good relationship, we spent a year and a half together here in Liverpool during the pandemic. We texted and he gave me gifts, it’s true. He’s a very lovable person.”
Revealing what the gift was, Ancelotti added: “An e-cigarette.”
