Carli Lloyd’s Pick For Next USWNT Coach
It’s already known to everyone that Soccer legend Carli Lloyd is not a fan of USWNT manager Vlatko Andonovski’s tactics and doesn’t wants him to be the head coach of the USWNT team for the next season.
She had already made it clear that she won’t be supporting him and following that she had also revealed her choice and the person she thinks to be the best candidate for the job. According to Carli, the United States should pursue Sarina Wiegman to be the USWNT coach.
“I think the U.S. should consider Sarina Wiegman,” Lloyd said. “She has done well with the Netherlands. She did well with England, winning the Euros and perhaps maybe she will win a World Cup as well.
“She seems like a great person. Seems ruthless when needed, seems like she motivates her team when needed, switches up the tactics when needed. Overall, it seems like she creates a great culture and she’s been very successful with teams.”

Wiegman does have the qualities to be the USWNT’s coach and lead the team to victory. She was the coach of the Netherlands from 2017-2021 after that she left and joined England to become the manager of the England women’s national team.
Earlier this week, Wiegman was asked about potentially leaving England. She made it known that she was comfortable with her current gig.
“I’m very happy with my job,” Wiegman said. “I’m happy how the FA treats me. And I’m getting ready for the Spain game.”
England will face Spain this Sunday in the World Cup final.
