Cardinals Put Kyler Murray On PUP Amid His Injury Recuperate
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is on the PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list amid his injury recuperate from last season.
Last season in a 14-week faceoff against the Patriots, Kyler Murray tore his ACL and Cartiledge, nothing serious. But Murray still recuperating from his injury, is ready to join the training camp again.
According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, Arizona Cardinals put him on the PUP list means he is on the ‘physically unable to perform’ list. 25-year-old Murray can be a part of the training camp and regular season but will not play for the entire first month of this season.
Via Ian, the Cardinals quarterback holds a prominent position in the team, so he has to be healed properly prior to this NFL season. It’s only been seven months since his injury last December still took 9-12 months to heel completely.
Rapoport wrote on his Twitter, “#AZCardinals QB Kyler Murray will begin training camp on the PUP list, the source said. Recovering from a torn ACL in mid-December, the designation is no surprise.”

The last time the Cardinals went into the season without Kyler after his awful injury, it didn’t go well for them. Murray went alone 3-8 as a starter whereas the rest of the Cardinals combined only scored 1-5. With that starter, the Arizona Cardinals set the record 4-13 for the third-worst record in the NFL.
After that many changes were made in the Arizona Cardinals for start they fired the head coach Kliff Kingsbury and replaced him with former Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon.
Without Kyler Murray, it’s gonna be a tough job for the Arizona Cardinals’ new coach Gannon to get the job done in the upcoming NFL season.
