An ardent golfer, Clark recently shared her excitement and slight nerves about participating in the John Deere Classic Pro-Am during an interview with KCRG. She also gave an honest assessment of her golf game, mentioning her power off the tee and acknowledging her need to work on her putting.
“I have some power. I can hit it pretty far,” she explained. “Obviously, that helps when I’m lifting weights at this time of the year. Honestly, I’ve been getting some lessons recently because I need to be dialed in for this event.
She candidly admitted that putting was her weakest aspect of the game, but expressed confidence in her ability to improve before the tournament. She also jokingly remarked that Zach Johnson would be a reliable teammate, stating, “I’m not worried; Zach will carry us.”
Having earned multiple national Player of the Year awards in women’s college basketball last season, Clark propelled Iowa to the national title game. She remains an influential figure in the sport and is expected to captivate audiences in the upcoming year as well.
